About

Tim H. Davis is a Boston based photographer who was born and raised in the American south. His fascination with the rapid growth of Atlanta inspired him to seek his BA in Geography and Urban Studies at Macalester College (St. Paul, MN). Graduate studies in urban geography brought Tim to Massachusetts in 1990, where he began his 25+ year career in affordable housing. Tim is still fascinated with cities, with a particular interest in photographing textures and forms, as well as juxtapositions of the old and new. In addition, he has become increasingly interested in sacred spaces.

Tim has taken photography classes at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and at the Griffin Museum of Photography, and participated in a photography workshop in Cuba. In addition to his BA, Tim holds an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
